North Yorkshire County Agricultural Show Christmas Tractor Parade 2026
Join us for a magical festive evening in Northallerton as the North Yorkshire County Agricultural Show presents its Christmas Tractor Parade on Saturday 12th December 2026.
Get into the Christmas spirit with a wonderful display of decorated tractors, festive stalls, last-minute gift shopping and a very special visit from Father Christmas!
A Special Arrival from Father Christmas!
New for 2026! Father Christmas will arrive in style at 5.30pm, travelling along the High Street on his sleigh, pulled by a beautifully decorated vintage tractor, before making his way to the Town Hall.
The tractor parade will commence at 6pm and complete two circuits of the High Street before parking up, giving visitors the chance to admire the tractors, take photographs and chat with the drivers. The tractors will also be judged, with prizes awarded to the winners.
Festive Shopping and Santa’s Grotto
Enjoy browsing the stalls and local shops for those all-important last-minute Christmas gifts.
You can also visit Santa’s Grotto in the Town Hall, where children can meet Father Christmas and receive a special gift.
• No pre-booking is required.
• There is a charge of £3 per child, which includes a free gift.
Supporting Our Farming and Local Communities
The Christmas Tractor Parade is a free public event, organised as a fundraiser for the North Yorkshire County Agricultural Show. Collections made during the event will support our nominated charities:
• Farming Community Network (FCN) – supporting its work in mental health for farmers.
• Blood Bikes – supporting the NHS.
By joining us, you can enjoy a fantastic festive evening while helping to support these important causes.
